Family Vacation -- St. John

In July we had a great get away to St. John with my parents to celebrate my birthday! St. John is apart of the Virgin Islands... Yes, we spent the week in paradise. During our time here we also spend a day shopping on St. Thomas, and a day touring the British Virgin Islands, Norman Island, Cooper Island, and the baths at the Virgin Gorda!

St. John had iguanas all over the island! The resort we were staying at had a feeding for them every evening. Once the lettuce was dumped these things came out from what seemed like everywhere to feast!! It really was crazy to see.

Below is Jimmy with one of many parrots they had had at the resort. This one gave "high-fives" to everyone. Each parrot had a "trick" they would do.

Orange Julius

4 weeks ago we got the sweetest little orange kitten we named Julius. Maggie was obsessed with him when we first got him. Now that Julius is getting bigger and bolder, Maggie most of the time gives us looks of where did this thing come from! Julius is defiantly a wild child right now! He jumps on everything, doesn't sleep at night, and really enjoys chasing his big sister (Maggie) around. Oh but do we love him :)

Ernst Wedding

On June 16, 2012, Jimmy and I both had the honor in standing next to good friends while they took each others hand in marriage. We have known Matt for years, the three of us all went to high school together. However, we were introduced to Stephanie a couple of years ago... We hit it off right away and we love her!! 

For Stephanie's bachelorette party we had the perfect girls day! It started with crafts and making items for us all to use the day of the wedding, a trip to the paint spot, a local winery, dinner, gifts, games, dancing, and of course a sleep over! :)

The boys spent the day with Mint Julips Tours visiting several local distilliaries in the area. 

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! During photos we got caught in a monsoon, but everything worked out and it was a perfect day!! Not to mention how great those outdoor barn photos turned out for them. We are so happy for our friends and wish them the best of luck in their future together.

During our time at the paint spot, the bridesmaids made a special gift for Stephanie. We each took a section of a platter and painted her a little message. We then waited to give it to her at the rehearsal dinner. I think it turned out great :)

Sky Diving

In June, Jimmy and I got to cross one of the items off of our bucket list. We went Sky Diving!! We did a tandem dive with Sky Dive Indianapolis. Their staff was so funny and we had such a good time! Jumping out of a plane and free falling over 100mph is feeling you just can't describe... But it was awesome!!
